KDS Teacher - HRFHC has designed the employee benefits program to adjust and grow with you, depending on your individual benefit needs and resources. Our benefits program was designed to keep both your wellness and finances in mind. Employees considered full-time or part-time are eligible for benefits. Some of our benefit plans are provided at no cost to you, while others are voluntary and require you to contribute a portion of the cost at a discounted group rate.

Health & Wellness

There are several affordable health plan options with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) that will fit the needs of you and your family. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care is the nation’s #1 private health plan for the 10th consecutive year.

These include HMO High and Low plan, or HMO Focus Network High and Low plan.

We also offer dental coverage and a vision plan.

Health & Fitness Reimbursement

For any employee enrolled in HPHC Health insurance for at least 4 months in the current calendar year, a $150 reimbursement is paid for the cost of joining a Fitness Center program.

Financial Benefits

FHFC offers a Fidelity 401(k) retirement savings plan featuring flexibility and control over investment decisions, tax-deferred savings, a company match after one year of employment, portability of retirement funds, compounding of investment returns, loans, and hardship withdrawals. Full vesting is available in three years, and employees are eligible to participate after three months of employment.

FHFC offers company paid Group Term Life Insurance, AD&D, and Long Term Disability benefits for full-time employees. As a full or part-time employee, you may also buy-up more Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Voluntary Term Life.

FHFC offers a pre-tax benefit Medical Flexible and Dependent Care Spending Account. The IRS offers more information about these programs.

FHFC offers a pre-tax MBTA Corporate Pass program. For public transportation travelers, there is an MBTA stop within walking distance of our hospital.

Both Century Bank and Metro Credit Union offer many services, including checking accounts, Christmas and Vacation Clubs, direct deposit of your paycheck, credit cards, a payroll deduction savings plan, and loans. There is a Century Bank ATM located onsite.

Ample employee parking is free of charge and available on all shifts.

Employees are immediately eligible for a discount at the on-site Franciscan Family Child Care Center. Fees may be payroll deducted, and special tax-saving features are available through the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.
